After receiving a tip by outdoor enthusiasts earlier this month, Dutch authorities discovered an illegal cannabis nursery, containing 168 pot plants, in an old, abandoned World War II bunker near the North Sea at Katwijk, north of The Hague.

Although it’s not against the law to possess a small amount of pot in the country, growing and selling over five grams is illegal. Most of the plants, which were all destroyed, stood over three feet tall.

Additionally, the hot house contained growing equipment and was illegally wired with electricity taken from a nearby water pumping station.

There’s no doubt that someone was likely very angry when they returned to find their entire operation had been destroyed.
