A new concealed carry style pistol enters the Walther Arms lineup with the gun maker introducing the new CCP M2 chambered in 9mm.
Keeping to the overall stylistic approaches that made the original CCP popular, the latest entry into the CCP series incorporates new features designed to take the pistol to the next level. The CCP M2 boasts a new visible cocking indicator as well a tool-less takedown. The new features are paired with Walther’s soft-coil recoil reduction system as well as the company’s “signature ergonomics.”
“We knew we had a great pistol in the CCP, but listening to our consumers drove us to upgrade certain features,” Bret Vorhees, Director of Product Development for Walther Arms, said in a press release. “The new tool-less take down, on top of the grip that seems to fit every hand, and the reduced recoil benefits of the soft-coil system, makes this pistol the perfect option for any shooter.”
Walther’s soft-coil recoil reduction system utilizes a gas delayed blowback set-up that uses gas pressure directed through a port in the barrel to slow down and ultimately delay the rearward motion of the slide. This effect mitigates felt recoil and provides a pistol that Walther says is perfect for the concealed carry lifestyle.
The CCP M2 offers a 3.54-inch barrel on an overall 6.41-inch length. Delivering 8-rounds of capacity the CCP M2 is available now with a MSRP of $469.
