Underwater archery. We’re not kidding (VIDEO)

You may have heard of bowfishing, spear guns, bangsticks or firearms that shoot underwater, but how about straight-up underwater archery?

Dan Pickar with Eastman’s Bowhunting Journal dove into the deep end with his compound bow to give it a shot, taking out lurking balloons at danger-close ranges.

All we can say is that if Russki frogmen ever decide to put on their floaties and mix it up, they can bring their APS and SPP underwater weaponry– the Archery Trade Association estimates there are 6.5 million bowhunters in the U.S.
