Umarex obtains license to make Glock air pistols and airsoft guns (VIDEO)

On Friday, the German-based air gun maker announced they had secured the international license to market .177-caliber air pistol and 6mm airsoft replicas of Glock handguns.

Worldwide shipments are expected to begin in November with Umarex USA and their Elite Force Airsoft group subsidiary marketing the guns directly in North America starting next year.

“For years now, the trust between our two companies has been growing and we are looking forward to further developing this relationship with Glock,” said Eyck Pflaumer, managing partner of Umarex Sportwaffen GmbH.

Formed in 1972, the company already makes licensed copies of popular Beretta, Colt, HK, and S&W handguns for the air pistol and airsoft markets sporting original markings.
