Sportsmen Action Needed in Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, and Nebraska
One of the newest, and most insidious, tactics used by the anti-hunting movement in its war on our heritage involves the regulation of so-called “puppy mills.” Right now, major efforts are underway to pass legislation mandating extremely onerous regulations on all dog kennels in numerous states throughout the nation. Sportsmen must oppose these efforts.

Florida sporting dog owners face a mandatory spay/neuter bill. House Bill 451 will put unnecessary hardships on sporting dog owners and permanently damage the breeding of hunting dogs. Florida sportsmen should contact their state legislators and oppose this bill.

Legislation in Connecticut Prohibits the Use of Tethers
A new bill in Rhode Island would virtually prohibit all outdoor dog kennels and represents a threat to sportsmen by giving the anti-hunting movement another tool to attack our heritage. Additionally, in Connecticut, two bills have been introduced along the same lines. Sportsmen and sporting dog owners are urged to contact their legislators in opposition.
