U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance Has A New Voice: ADWA

American Deer & Wildlife Alliance

AUSTIN, Texas -(AmmoLand.com)- When it comes to protecting the rights of hunting, fishing, trapping and scientific wildlife management professionals, knowledge is key. The American Deer & Wildlife Alliance (ADWA) is partnering with The U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance (USSA) to broadcast their direct lobbying and grassroots efforts on behalf of sportsmen nationwide.

“ADWA was based on many things, but mainly with the objective of uniting everyone in our industry whether businesses, associations or non-profits in our collective fight against the anti-hunters,” says Annie Jones, director of ADWA operations. “The USSA is a group we have always appreciated for their skilled efforts in lobbying and staying on top of legislative issues.”

The USSA provides many tools for the public to stay informed. Their Bill Tracker is a useful tool to learn about bills in different states and in Congress that will change the sportsmen’s way of life, if passed. There are also many other bills that will benefit hunter’s rights and need support. Many tools on the USSA website also aim to keep the public informed. Please visit www.ussportsmen.org to learn more.

“We support ADWA’s cause to further education and unite all different factions dedicated to conservation of land for future generations to come. USSA is about many things, but we need outlets like ADWA to spread the news about our legislative efforts the more avenues USSA has to provide calls to action, the better for all of us. If more sportsmen become aware of the issues we see before us everyday, the more support we can garner,” says Frank Price, USSA’s Field Services Director.
