Montgomery, AL -(AmmoLand.com)- Hurry and call to reserve a spot in the Alabama Nature Center’s Big Backyard Campout in Millbrook.
The campout is Saturday, July 18, and you can get in on it by calling 334-285-4550. Activities at the event include a “Campfire 101” session, glow-stick night hikes, a movie and much more.
Campsite set up begins at 2 p.m. on the 18th and activities start at 3 p.m. Cost is $5 per adult, $3 per child. You don’t pay until you arrive, but please call to register.
Campsites must be cleaned and vacated by 11 a.m. on July 19, but registered campers are welcome to stay and enjoy the Nature Center’s hiking trails until closing time at 5 p.m.
Bring your own camping gear – no pop-up campers, please – and children must be accompanied by an adult. No pets are allowed and campfires must be only in designated areas.
