However, the lesson is still there that pointing a gun at someone threatens their very life, even if it is the police doing the pointing. A uniformed cop unholsters his gun on two undercover cops and a lot of unhappiness ensues.
“Two county officers got into a profanity-laced shouting match with State Police Trooper Jeremy Micewicz, who had approached the plainclothes officers after Deboue pulled a vehicle over with an unmarked minivan.
Micewicz briefly drew out his gun and kept his hand on the butt of the gun as he approached Duboue, mindful of a string of carjackings earlier this year by gunmen impersonating police on the New Jersey Turnpike. The confrontation was captured by a dashboard video camera in the trooper’s patrol car.”
