Coraopolis, PA –-(Ammoland.com)- The payout for the Ruffed Grouse Society’s (RGS) National Fundraiser Drawing may not be as large as some of the state and multi-state lotteries that have surfaced over the years, but then again the odds are much better.
The prizes are pretty spectacular as well. Only 1,000 tickets will be sold, and purchasers will have an opportunity to win one of three high-end shotguns. And, unlike those state drawings, proceeds from this raffle will be used to restore and protect grouse and woodcock habitat.

Hand-engraved by master engraver Don Talbot, the scrollwork surrounds a vignette featuring two grouse on the left and two woodcock on the right side of the receiver.
The hand-engraved RGS logo is on top of the receiver where it meets the butt-stock. The stock and fore-end are exhibition grade walnut with a hand-rubbed oil finish. It has a 24 1/2 inch ventilated-rib barrel with two beads and carries serial number “RGS 50” for the Society’s 50th Anniversary. In addition, it comes cased in a gun sleeve that is tucked into a Remington Soft case inside a Remington travel case. The retail value is $9,000.
Second prize is a Caesar Guerini RGS 50th Commemorative APEX grade over and under 28-gauge, 28″ barrel length. It features a hand-engraved grouse on trigger guard, This one-of-a-kind shotgun has a retail value of $7,850.
