Las Vegas-based importer FIME Group announced the Rex series pistols is getting a facelift, adding nickel plated models in standard and compact sizes.

The standard Rex will boast a nickel plated slide and black frame or nickel plated frame, slide and barrel with black chrome hardware. The standard model features a 17-round design with 4.25-inch barrel and 5.7-inch height. Weighing in at 29-ounces without a magazine, the standard is chambered in 9mm. MSRP on the standard series starts at $715 for the 1S-08 model and $789 for the 1S-06.

In addition, FIME is serving up nickel plated option on the compact Rex series. The compact Rex touts a 15-round capacity, 3.85-inch barrel and weight of 25.12 ounces. Standing 5.1-inches tall, teh 9mm compact comes in two nickel plated offerings. The first model supplies a nickel plated steel slide with solid bar stock on a black frame with MSRP at $715. The second model offered delivers a nickel plated T7075 aluminum frame made from solid bar stock with steel locking block insert and nickel plated steel slide. Black chrome hardware rounds out its attributes and the pistol features a prie tag of $789.

All nickel plated Rex pistols will feature a new contoured grip for increased comfort.
