Nikon’s P-Tactical Superdot is officially headed to consumers, Nikon announced, adding that the red dot is on its way to dealers.
Originally debuted at SHOT Show 2018 in Las Vegas, the P-Tactical Superdot measures a compact 2×1.7×1.7-inches with a weight of 4.2 ounces. Built on an aluminum alloy platform, the device is both shockproof and waterproof. The P-Tactical Superdot features full multicoated lenses in addition to Nikon’s proprietary “Trucolor” coating. The addition of Trucolor reduces the bluish tint commonly associated with red dot sights.
With a 2 MOA dot, the P-Tactical Superdot offers an adjustable design with 10 total levels of brightness. The first two settings are even night vision compatible. The dot is centered within the field of the 2mm sighting window, delivering a wider field of field paired with unlimited-and-non-critical eye relief.
Utilizing windage and elevation adjustments in 1-MOA increments, the internal adjustment range is 100 MOA. The P-Tactical Superdot mounts to MSR platforms or any other firearm with a Picatinny rail or base. MSRP on the P-Tactical Superdot is $199.
