A 24-year-old man spent some mighty morphin’ time in jail after he apparently threatened a man at a Tampa public pool… while wearing a Red Power Ranger costume.
Officers responded to a 911 and while they found the suspect, Justin Duarte, getting ready to make a getaway in his car, they did not elaborate on why the man may have been dressed as a Power Ranger. Authorities did, however, confirm that the two guns with which was making threats were only very realistic-looking fakes.
Duarte was arrested and charges with aggravated assault.
