Lewis Machine & Tool Company To Offer New SOPMOD Buttstock Options
MILAN, IL – -(AmmoLand.com)- Lewis Machine & Tool Company (LMT), an Illinois-based company that designs, prototypes, and manufactures small arms, accessories and tooling components for military, government, law enforcement, commercial manufacturers and responsible civilians, has introduced two new options for their SOPMOD buttstock. LMT now offers a tan SOPMOD buttstock and also dual quick-detach sling swivel hole on both black and tan SOPMOD buttstocks.
Always on the forefront of design, LMT has expanded its offerings beyond the traditional black SOPMOD buttstock. LMT delivers its improved cheek weld stock, for better shooting positioning in both tan and black options. The buttstock’s padded buttplate reduces recoil and provides a no-slip surface against web gear and body armor. Both stocks are available as a stock only, complete kit or included on a complete lower half or complete weapon system.
LMT has also introduced new dual quick-detach sling swivel holes in the SOPMOD buttstock. This function allows for quick and easy access and maintains the quality for which LMT is known worldwide. LMT’s custom design Monolithic Rail Platform already offers sling swivel holes in the front of the receiver in 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions as well as in the front of the port door and adjacent side.
