The new additions to the Defender Model Weapon Systems have evolved to include the Standard and Close Quarter Battle MRP Compliant Models, the 6.8 Monolithic Rail CQB Platform and the interchangeable Close Quarter Piston Weapon System in 16? piston.

Individual features include:
• The Close Quarter Battle Compliant Model (COMPCQB16)
With a Close Quarter Battle (CBQ) Monolithic Rail Platform (MRP) upper receiver, 1:7? twist target-style 16” barrel and fixed SOPMOD buttstock. It comes with tactical adjustable rear sight, tactical front sight, sling, operators manual, torque wrench, driver, three rail panels and a 10 round magazine.

• The Standard Compliant Model (COMP16)
With a flattop upper receiver, 1:7? twist target-style 16” barrel and fixed SOPMOD buttstock. It comes with tactical adjustable rear sight, sling, operators manual and a 10 round magazine.

• The 6.8 CQB Monolithic Rail Platform (CQB1668)
With a Close Quarter Battle (CQB) Monolithic Rail Platform (MRP) upper receiver, 1:10” twist chrome-lined 16” 6.8 barrel, standard semi-auto bolt carrier with enhanced 6.8 bolt assembly, standard trigger group and SOPMOD buttstock. It comes with tactical adjustable rear sight, tactical front sight, torque wrench, driver, three rail panels and a 25 round 6.8 magazine.

• The Close Quarter Battle Piston Weapon System (CQBPS 16)
The CQB MRP Defender Piston, 5.56 with chrome-lined 1:7” twist 16” barrel and SOPMOD lower. The interchangeable operating system runs cleaner, cooler and more accurately than conventional direct impingement models.

LMT CQB Monolithic Rail Platform Complete Weapons Systems use the free-floating barrel inside a durable, one-piece receiver machined from a solid forging for maximum strength and durability. All LMT barrels are mil-spec machine gun grade chrome-moly vanadium material and bores and chambers are chrome lined, delivering functional benefits of a longer barrel life and easy cleaning, more corrosion resistance, reduction in barrel cleaning cycles and higher hardness. The Complete Weapons, featuring the M4-type feed system are tested for function and accuracy. LMT operating systems are 100 percent made in the U.S.A. and comply with the Berry Amendment. All complete weapons ship with an operator’s manual, sling, magazine and sights.
