Idaho: Senate Committee Passes Self-Defense Legislation

Fairfax, VA – -(Ammoland.com)- This week, the Idaho Senate State Affairs Committee passed important self-defense legislation, House Bill 206.  HB 206 now heads to the Senate floor for final consideration. Please contact your state Senator and urge them to SUPPORT House Bill 206 when it comes up for a vote.

House Bill 206 would lower the age of Idaho’s permitless carry laws from 21 to 18.  This important legislation would allow those adults aged 18 and older who are legally allowed to carry a firearm for self-defense, to do so within city limits without having to pay fees and obtain a government-issued license to do so.  Current law allows permitless concealed carry by those 18 years and above outside of the city limits.

Again, please contact your state Senator and politely urge them to SUPPORT House Bill 206 when it comes up for a vote.
