Kentucky Afield

Frankfort, Kentucky – -(OutDoorWire.com)-A down-home Kentucky Christmas is knocking at the door as host Tim Farmer drops in on some long-time musician friends. This yuletide show includes performers in the comfort of their living rooms such as thumbpicker Eddie Pennington, The Moron Brothers, A Rare Breed of Bluegrass, plus a number with a '50s flare from Farmer's own band, The Dells. We also stop by the home of columnist, humorist and storyteller Byron Crawford for a reading of “The Night Before Christmas.”

“Visiting friends during the holidays is a favorite tradition,” glows Farmer. “For our special this year, instead of asking them to travel to us, we go to them and share the warmth of their homes. These acts have contributed to our program in countless ways over the years to help us showcase the outdoors. This is one way we can give back.”
