Washington DC – -(Ammoland.com)- On June 24 2015, Breitbart News reported that a Hollywood, Florida, Domino’s Pizza delivery driver shot and killed one of two alleged armed robbers who demanded his money.

Days later, the Outdoor Channel reported that the driver was placed on “paid leave” during “an investigation, and has been offered counseling.” Domino’s Pizza has also “reiterated their ‘no guns’ policy” in the wake of the incident.

Domino’s Pizza’s gun policy bars drivers from carrying guns for self-defense even if said drivers have a concealed carry permit to do so. On February 11, Breitbart News reported that at least 8 drivers have been shot and 3 killed under this policy, and that’s just since the beginning of 2012.

These attacks included the heinous February 8 assault that took place in broad daylight and resulted in the rape and robbery of a 22-year-old Domino’s Pizza delivery woman in Antioch, California. That driver arrived at the delivery address only to be met by an allegedly armed 17-year-old who forced her to drive to a second location, where the assault took place. SFGate.com reported the armed suspect then allegedly ordered the woman to drive back to the original address, where the suspect robbed her before fleeing the scene.

Domino’s Pizza spokesman Tim McIntyre responded to this horrific attack by saying company executives were “shocked and horrified” and “couldn’t conceive of something like this happening, especially on a Sunday morning.”

Executives may have been shocked and horrified, but they still weren’t jolted enough to change the policy that renders drivers defenseless as they deliver the pizzas that line executives’s pockets with money.
