SIDNEY, Neb.- -(ShootingWire.com)- Corey Cogdell, 2008 Olympic Bronze Medalist in Women’s Trap, has joined the Cabela’s family as a member of its esteemed Ambassador Program.

Corey’s impressive resume of trap-shooting wins coupled with her natural charisma and life-long passion for the outdoors makes her an ideal fit for the role of Cabela’s Ambassador. Corey consistently demonstrates high moral character and a commitment to professionalism, qualities required of any Cabela’s ambassador and consistent with Cabela’s legendary reputation.

Born and raised in Alaska, Corey grew up hunting alongside her father. Her early exposure to firearms and hunting sparked a strong interest in competitive trap shooting at a very young age. Corey’s love of the sport and personal drive, as well as the support of her family, allowed her to develop her skills and become one of the best in the world.

“Corey is a great competitor, as well as a positive role model for the youth of America,” said Tom Rosdail, Cabela’s vice president of marketing. “Cabela’s is looking forward to this relationship and is proud to welcome Corey to the Cabela’s Ambassador Program.”
