Washington DC – -(AmmoLand.com)- 2009 marks the 20th anniversary of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation. Throughout the year, CSF’s communication will focus on the accomplishments of the past 20 years and also focus on the meaningful partner relationships that have been forged. CSF Reception Welcomes Caucus Members To Washington
“It is great to see the leaders in this room who have done so much to preserve and protect hunting and fishing rights and habitat. It is an honor to be a part of the largest bi-partisan caucus of any kind in Congress,” said Caucus Co-Chair Congressman Paul Ryan.
This event is held to introduce newly elected representatives to the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus as well as welcome past and present caucus members. This year’s reception reflected on the 20th Anniversary of CSF, and focused on legislative issues coming before the 111th Congress.
“As we celebrate our 20th Anniversary as an organization, we also celebrate the accomplishments and dedication of our Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus members as they continue to lead the way in improving hunting, fishing, and conservation opportunities,” said CSF President Jeff Crane.
Headquartered in Washington, DC just steps from the U.S. Capitol, CSF’s sole focus is providing access and a voice for sportsmen in the U.S. Congress, the Administration and federal land management agencies, as well as state legislatures across the country. With support from every major hunting and fishing organization and industry, CSF is the leader in promoting sportsmen’s issues with elected officials.
