Cast Your Ballots! For The Sportsman Channel’s Viewer Favorite Awards
New Berlin, Wisconsin – The voting polls for The Sportsman Channel’s (TSC) annual Viewers’ Favorite Awards are now open! The polls will remain open until December 15th.
Every series that aired a first-run episode on TSC during the 2008 calendar year is eligible to win an award in four categories. They include:
Viewer Favorite Fishing Show- consisting of a program with 100 percent fishing content
Viewer Favorite Hunting Show- includes programs with 100 percent big and small game hunting
Viewer Favorite Combination Show- features programs that contain both hunting and fishing content
Viewer Favorite Personality- is the host of any show on TSC
Unlike the rest of TSC’s Producer Awards, these four categories are decided solely by the viewers. Ballots can be cast by clicking on the voting banners at www.thesportsmanchannel.com .
Jim Seeley, Director of Programming at The Sportsman Channel, is confident that voter turn out year’s awards will be even larger than in the past. “Our viewers are very passionate about what shows they deem ‘the best of the best.’ Since this is our fifth year handing out these awards, both the shows and the viewers really get into it.”
Last year featured two first time winners: North American Fisherman won Viewer Favorite Fishing Show and Keith Warren won Viewer Favorite Personality. Who will win this year? Your vote decides!!
The winners will be announced during The Sportsman Channel’s Producer Awards. This year’s exclusive event is on January 16th, during the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT SHOW) in Orlando, Fla.
