Tune in to See if Really “Bo Knows Hunting;” This Friday.
New Berlin, Wis. –-(Ammoland.com)- What’s better than a little “bo-hunting” with Bo Jackson on a Friday night?
Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American Sportsman, is bringing audiences on a whitetail deer hunt in Fulton County, Illinois with sports great, Bo Jackson, exclusively on Relentless Pursuit.
Host Tim Wells guides Bo on a typical fall deer hunt…it’s typical in every way except for the fact he’s guiding one of the most recognizable names in the sports industry. Tune into Relentless Pursuit to see how this avid bowhunter really knows bowhunting this Friday, September 20 at 8 pm ET/PT.
This episode features a recap of their 2012 hunt along with behind-the-scenes footage. Last year, Bo took his time from his treestand and his patience paid off.
“It’s been a long time coming. I haven’t harvested a deer in a year and half because I’ve been so busy. But I know what we are having for lunch today,” grins Bo Jackson after he downed his first deer.
“We were a little concerned about Bo at first. Bo knows football, baseball, but we didn’t know if he knows hunting – but apparently he does,” said Tim Wells, host.
After finding his second doe of the day, Bo heads back to camp to grill backstraps for the crew. “He’s probably one of the best wild game cooks I’ve ever met,” said Wells. Jackson used his own recipe rub and seasonings for the backstraps.
