PHOENIX, Arizona – -(TheOutdoorWire.com)- BAE Systems will conduct briefings on its ECLiPSE Performance Military Gear Modular Vest Program (MVP) January 15 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the BAE Systems’ display, booth 7643. The briefing and display will include information on BAE Systems’ recently developed soft body armor and newly developed tactical vests. The media and the public are invited to attend the briefings.
The ECLiPSE modular approach to ballistic vests allows wearers to use the same ballistic insert in low-visibility carriers throughout the line up to a releasable tactical system with ample load-carriage capabilities. MVP vests are designed with state-of-the-art materials and ensure peak performance mission after mission. BAE Systems produces seven types of vests to fill a variety of missions that U.S. military forces perform.
ECLiPSE tactical gear represents the next generation of equipment designed by operators and built to increase functionality and mission readiness. Newly launched, BAE Systems has on display the full line of vests in the MVP including: the Releasable Body Armor Vest (RBAV) Special Forces (SF) and Homeland Security (HS); Tactical Body Armor Vest (TBAV), Enhanced Concealable Body Armor Vest (ECMPV), and the Modular Scalable Protective Vest (MSPV). Each ECLiPSE modular vest incorporates a common, interchangeable soft-ballistic panel based on the cut of the Special Operations Forces Equipment Advanced Requirements (SPEAR).
