Austin, TX –-(Ammoland.com)- “The Brownells Convoy ‘Cross America” is a coast to coast rally type event that started in Leesburg Florida and ends in Los Angles on July 25th.. Each leg of the trip highlights everything that is great about America. From guns to beer to Jeeps, this convoy is as American as it gets.
Last Friday the Convoy hit Texas with a stop at “The Range at Austin” for a night of shooting and fun with other freedom-loving Americans. The Range at Austin is a massive 52,000sq foot state of the art shooting facility that carries one of the largest selections of firearms and firearms accessories in the state of Texas. Everything is bigger in Texas and The Range at Austin is no exception to this rule.
With a full-service gunsmithing facility and world-class trainers on staff, The Range at Austin was an obvious choice for Brownells Convoy ‘Cross America. This place truly has it all for a gun range. In some aspects, it feels more like a country club than a gun range, but instead of shooting golf their members shoot guns.
The Range at Austin even has a cigar lounge with a full-size humidor where their members can either purchase cigars, or store their own for future use. This is an addition to The Patriot Club having the capacity for a full bar and catering. From corporate outings to private parties, The Range at Austin can handle it.
The public got to hang out with YouTube/Full30 sensation Hank Strange at the event. Hank has one of the most popular gun channels on any video platform. He is an avid shooter and a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment as well as an all-around great guy.
Adrian from Cigars & Guns was also there to spread the love of shooting and smoking. Adrian isn’t just into the “pew pew life.” He is into the “puff puff pew pew life.” He has combined two of his passions seamlessly. This bringing together of his love of cigars and firearms has garnered Adrian quite a following on the Internet.
Ryan and Josh, members of Brownells Bureau of Propaganda, were also in attendance at the event. The Brownells Bureau of Propaganda exists to spread gun cultures through social media platforms like Instagram.
Patrick from the Firearms Rack was also in attendance at the shooting event. He teamed up with AmmoLand’s very own Duncan Johnson to bring the readers all the excitement from a “Cannonball Run” type of event with guns.
Brownells didn’t only treat the public to a great time, but there was plenty of swag to go around. Every stop on the tour will bring new adventures, stories, and fun.
After the event, Duncan and Patrick will be jumping in their 2016 Toyota Tacoma and will drive to Colorado Springs, CO. They will hit up Red Leg Brewing where one of the “secret soldiers of Benghazi,” John “Tig” Tiegan, will join them for a night of fun, beer, and liberty.
