1st American Celebrity Classic Shoot Picks Up NSSF, Colt & Otis Technology as Sponsors

Johns Island, South Carolina –-(Ammoland.com)- The American Celebrity Classic, a brand new National shooting event to honor and help our troops is pleased to announce that the National Shooting Sports Foundation, Colt and Otis Technology have become the first donors to sign on as sponsors.

The American Celebrity Classic will bring together sportsmen, outdoor-related industries, outfitters, professional athletes and celebrities that promote shooting sports, specifically those committed to helping our active military personnel as well as our veterans.

Jeff Engel, Executive Director of the American Celebrity Classic states, “This nationally televised shooting event will take place on June 3 and 4, 2011 at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas and will be one of the most exciting, fun and well organized shooting events in the country with the ultimate goal being to help our military personnel.

“We could not be more pleased with the initial interest of NSSF, Colt and Otis Technology but it is going to take the efforts of the entire outdoor shooting community to make this event happen.”

The proceeds of this outstanding event will be shared by many organizations which may include, but are not limited to Salute to American Heroes, Operation Welcome Home, Stars & Stripes, the Blinded Veterans Association and the USO. It is our goal to provide funding to organizations offering support for our veterans while preserving recreational shooting and hunting traditions.
